The yearbook photo here does say "Victor del Campo", but I know he went by that name because of the 1940 census, where his father's middle name was recorded as Martin, which dropped Martin from the whole family name. WWII Alien registration records his "other names" as:

- Victor E Del Campo
- Victor M Del Campo
- Victor M Oropeza

Meaning the same man (born Victor Enrique Martin del Campo Oropeza) went by all of these names.

In the Heroic City of Veracruz, at 11:00 a.m. on the 31st (thirty-first) day of May, 1924 (nineteen twenty-four), before me, Miguel Tejeda, Municipal Secretary and Acting Head of the Office of the Civil Judge of this Municipality, appeared Mr. Víctor Martín del Campo, a native of Lagos, Jalisco, residing in this municipality, 28 (twenty-eight) years of age, married, employed, residing at Constitution number 34, who stated and declared that together with his wife, Mrs. Delfina Oropeza, at their residence at the aforementioned house, at 11:30 (eleven thirty) on the 1st (first) day of December just past, under lawful marriage, a male child was born to whom they gave the name Víctor Enrique, the legitimate son of the declarant and his wife Delfina Oropeza, of the same origin, 23 (twenty-three) years of age, and of the same residence and domicile as her husband, stating that said minor is being cared for by Mrs. Sabina de Mejandía, Dolores González de Martínez del Campo, and by Enrique G. Oropeza and Delfina Puig de Oropeza; the witnesses to this act being Messrs. Ismael Jaques Bello and Francisco Gil Oropeza, of the same origin and residence, the first 38 (thirty-eight) years of age, married, merchant, residing at Hernán Cortés number 4, and the second 22 (twenty-two) years of age, single, employed, residing at Benito Juárez number 22, who stated that they agreed with what was recorded herein, and after the present document was read, they ratified and signed it for the record.

Aside from the names, ages, and places of birth matching, I know that the Victor Martín del Campo (on the next page) is the correct father, because Dolores González and Enrique G. Oropeza are also mentioned (above). They are confirmed to be the elder Victor's mom and Delfina's dad in his and Delfina's marriage registration (on the next page).
