English: In the town of Aguascalientes, on the twenty-fourth day of the month of March of the year one thousand seven hundred and seventy-one, I administered the holy oils to Baltasar, who had received water in necessity; legitimate son of Pedro Romo and Lorenza Ruiz de Esparza; Baltasar Díaz was his godfather, I warned him of the spiritual kinship, and I signed it.
